Ancestral
Food Stories
Special thanks to Anzia Bennett, Amanda Browne, Luis Colunga, Manuel Lopez, Michelle Otero, Christopher Ramirez, Julisa Rodriguez, Michael Sedillo and others for their support of the Ancestral Food Stories project.
Funded by the Citizen Diplomacy Action Fund in Winter and Summer of 2021 T4B worked with Three Sisters Kitchen and others to host the cooking cohort "plus." We collected family food stories and recipes with young men of color. And connected the cohort to promoting mental health and resiliency. The collection of recipe cards was developed by Media Desk to tell the family food stories of Jose, McLight, Hunter, Cian and Alejandro.
